Inspired by the Randy Newman song "Simon Smith and his Amazing Dancing Bear". I might want to do a personal film to this song. It's a great story.
I recently read the Aesop Fable called "The Fox and the Stork". I'm fascinated by this story because it's funny, and because there is no discernible lesson or moral. It's literally about two petty, spiteful animals who obviously just like to mess with each other. I like to try to imagine why they hate each other so much. Might be a story here.
This is a moment from a story I was working on for a graphic novel, but I think it would make an interesting movie, or perhaps a mini-series.
